Good place to please lots of people

I like the price. It is a Chinese restaurant , but they have American food like meatloaf and mashed potatoes with green beans. They have things to assemble a taco. If you don't like chicken fixed one way, there us a choice of at least three.Everything is clean and spacious.

When you go on your birth date you can receive a free buffet for dinner, or lunch if you prefer. Make sure to be finished by at least one hour before they close. You won't have to continuously ask for items to be replenished. For the best success, go at the very beginning of the evening dinner period. You're sure to find something that you like, so go, enjoy!

I always love going there !! ... Food is always good and fresh ... And there's a good variety to choose from and french fries ...

Our family really enjoyed eating here. There is literally something for everyone. So many different dishes to choose from including hot and sour soup ( my favorite). We arrived for an early lunch shortly after they opened at 11:00 am and the food was so hot and fresh. I look forward to the next time we travel North and stop to eat here again.

Food is boring & poorly prepared.Service is abysmal.BUT...my grandsons LOVE this place so I will continue to patronize them every year I visit!

Slightly bigger selection than China Sun Buffet. Lacks Mongolian BBQ and cooked fish. Plenty of snow crab and shrimp dishes. Sushi was passable. Got to try frogs legs, which tasted like chicken. Visited this place three times and plan on continuing to frequent this buffet.In the men's bathroom, the left side paper towel dispenser has a fake Amazon Alexi sign. It's there to prank you into giving a voice command to the paper towel dispenser. You get fooled into standing there waiting for a paper towel to dispense. It is a manual paper towel dispenser.

Good was average in compare with other Chinese buffets. Too many of the food on the steamer was cold. First time there so will think twice to come back.

Great quality for a Chinese buffet. It has all the items you would expect. The staff was very polite and attentive. My only complaint, and it is minor, is that the waitresses spoke amongst themselves very loudly right next to the booth.

The staff was incredible nice and patient with my 5 and 7 year old grandkids. My grandkids absolutely loved it. Had all their favorites. Sushi, rice, noodles and spring rolls. My favorite peanut sauce chicken. Crab!!! Large Shrimp..Just truly all our favorites at one place. My granddaughter called it Heaven on earth and she and her brother are so picky. Now they both want to go there on their birthdays!..it's worth the drive from Salem yummy!!

Great place with lots of good food. We went early just in case there would be a crowd and then their was not so we enjoyed our dinner. The wait staff was quick and friendly and we didn't have to wait to be seated. Some of the food was a bit off, like pot stickers were dry and had been sitting in the buffet line but other than that everything was great.

An awesome place with wonderful food and good price. Very friendly employees. The place is always clean. They serve fresh food meaning they keep the pans changed regularly on the buffet tables. Wonderful prawns and sweet and sour chicken

Whenever we're in Eugene my husband and I love to go here the selections a food excellent great tasting we will go back whenever we can

Hubby says this might be his new favorite restaurant. He liked the sushi options very much.I particularly enjoyed the peanut chicken and the coconut chicken, and the donuts were delicious.We rode up on our bikes and still had to ride home, so I didn't go too crazy, but I enjoyed everything on my plate.Service was good, dining room was clean.

This place is great ! Always fresh , and you can get a great lunch deal Tuesdays between11 and 4. All you can eat sushi ! And the usual fair. Get desert on your way out. Ice cream cone anyone!?😀

The service is great and the atmosphere is wonderful. However, the food is of average quality but it's a buffet so if you need some all you can eat food, this is a great place.

Only reason I can't give it 5 stars is because the food isn't always hot which is a huge turnoff for me with buffets. Otherwise it's pretty good, just maybe take temps more often?

I love this spot and it's relatively close to where I am at. Their food is really delicious and the process is nice. I just wish they had a little hit more of a selection and that the sushi would be kept up with a little more and available.

Really good selection for a fair price. I recommend going at peak times during the day around 12-7pm to ensure fresh food on the buffet. Coming from Houston, Texas, I can say this is the best Chinese Restaurant I have found since leaving home. Dont listen to the other reviews, the food was delicious.

This could be a very good place to eat however We came an hour and half before closing and most of the seafood and sushi were gone. Staff did not offer or ask if there was something we wanted. Never refilled my water. When I went to pay many staff members were sitting on their phones.

4 stars. Staff is polite. Food is great. I would have given 5 stars if they would put more crab out at a time. You'll nearly have to fight for it if you want it haha.

Typical Chinese food but hits all my cravings. Love the sweet and sour chicken and egg drop soup, coconut chicken and the peanut chicken. They even have a small sushi bar, along with a dessert area. Staff is friendly, courteous and quick. Tuesday 11-4 buffet is $7.99. A great go to when you are hungry!

We got takeout. The fried rice was cooked with obviously rancid oil—we could not bring ourselves to eat it.

Quite a large selection of basic Americanized Chinese fare. We often see Asian students from the University enjoying themselves. Most everyone should hopefully be able to find enough to be satisfied. If you're able to eat them, you can at least make a giant shrimp cocktail!

Unfortunate how you like would say something positive however I can't think of one.Why was the food Cold Its a shame that you pay monies and the food in warmers are Not warm if you get there when they open it may be hard instead of Lukewarm 😓 who wants to eat food that is on the cold side.You need a better system to keep food Hot for best flavor Your fees are 😑high 13.99 for dinner 2nd time visit what a shame 😖 why show pictures on cold food looks like it would be tasty but looks can be deceiving Will look for another place Don't waste your monies but if you do You were warned

I love Empire buffet. Not only is the food the best. The employees are so nice and right spot on getting drinks picking up plates and helping any way they can. One of my favorite places to eat.

We liked that they had oysters and they were good about keeping the crab legs full in the buffet. I'd say the service was good and they had a humbleness about them that was noticed and appreciated.

Definitely not BAD, but there are other options in town that surpass it. The chicken, beef, and dessert options are passable to decent, but dont eat the oysters...... For the love of everything holy...... ... ... Stay away from the oysters of doom...... DOOM!... ............ DOOM!... Unless you're my worst enemy, then by all means, go ahead. Do you feel lucky? Let those suckers sit your gullet and savor it and see what happens. I dare you.

We went on a Sunday when it’s buffet dinner pricing all day long. We brought our one and three year old with us. There is so much food to choose from. I don’t know how you could complain! You can even put raw meats and vegetables on a plate for the cook to order Mongolian type station. They had hot crab legs, different shrimp and seafood dishes, fruit, desserts, soups, salads and so much more! My kids ate well. They also enjoyed walking in and looking at the Koi Fish pond at the entrance. Our three year old cost $3.00 and around $13.50 per adult. Decent prices for the amount of seafood we ate!
